Made up of 7 final year students, 1 contractor, and boundless energy, we are a fun and gameplay-first small indie team called Small Bag O’ Peas! Our team includes talented programmers and designers with industry experience thanks to placement, and various artists who each bring different specialties, from 2D concept art to 3D environment art to animation, everyone plays a vital role! A rhythm game disguised as a fighting game, we are attempting to combine fast-paced action with music-based reactions, this game is aimed at teenagers and young adults! Playable on controllers or keyboard and inspired by Street Fighter and Friday Night Funkin, play as the rookie fighter Miguel to win a dance-fighting tournament for a cash prize! Face off against two unique opponents with different note types depending on the level, such as Manthus’ strong hold notes or Belladonna’s tricky ghost notes that fade over time, this game is easy to learn, but hard to master! With a homemade OST, items you can buy in the shop and a leaderboard, there is plenty of replayability! Finally, watch out for the stance changes, as during the song, the enemy may swap their attack styles, and maybe your inputs may change too, from D-pad, to face buttons, to even more!
